DFW Computer Integration
Founded in 2006, DFW Computer Investigations was a spinoff from The Computer Wizard (TCW). TCW was founded by Warren P. Harris in 1994 to service and repair computers in the San Francisco Bay Area. Relocating the business to Plano, Texas in 1999, TCW continued to flourish when an unfortunate loss of data for a wedding Mr. Harris photographed, caused him to research data recovery options.
Realizing he would have to either pay someone to recover the photos or find out how to do it himself, the rest, as they say "is history".
Approached by a friend who was a Private Investigator in 2006, Mr. Harris studied for his Investigator's license and began honing his skills in Computer Forensics.
The company was renamed DFW Computer Integration in 2015.
In 2010, The Computer Wizard was sold and Mr. Harris relocated DFWCI to Frisco. Tiring of providing computer forensic services the predominantly involved divorce and custody cases, Harris allowed his Investigator's license to lapse and rebranded the business DFW Computer Integration. DFWCI now operates out of the North Dallas area and serves a substantial portion of the Dallas area.
Data recovery services
are performed for hard drives, SD, MicroSD, CF and other camera memory cards, USB Sticks and SSD drives for PC, Mac and Linux platforms.
In many cases of hardware failure we can transplant data platters into good drives for recovery purposes, as we have recently constructed a mini "clean room" Glove Box with HEPA filtration. This allows us to recover drives we had been unable to handle in the past.
For extreme cases or SSD damage, we ship them to DriveSavers in California. They are quite simply the best in the business. Click on the link above for a referral code that will save you a significant amount of money should you need their services.
